Swaim School for Better Living: Wintering Well #6
Well Folks, this week's tip is short and oh so sweet:GET OUTSIDE AND MOVE! Move, move, move. Fast or slow or both, but get going. Let the sun hit your face and skin, let your lungs rejoice. Let the happy hormones in your brain have a chance to play. The best part of this time of year is the silence that comes with being outside. Take yourself to the lake, or to the river, or to the Owyhees or the Boise Foothills. Let the ministry of nature do its work; nature that is on the verge of exploding, better known as spring. Don't miss the incredible silence before the riot of color and noise. The Greenbelt works great, and the geese are everywhere (watch where you step).Trees look pretty cool this time of year, and the big raptors out at Lake Lowell, can be easily spotted without all those pesky leaves in the way. We live in a great place to play, and we have somehow avoided winter all together (famous last words). So get out. Do it. Do it every chance you get.And if you need suggestions of where to go or what to do... let us help.Cheers,ks
